- R&D tried to use the Solder JointHeight CT algorithm. This algorithm is the most similar to the concept as request from Mr.Choi (Mr. Choi’s concept as an image below), which can measure the height of the BGA Solder Joint height, but it isn’t suitable for this defect. So, we can’t meet the target of Mr. Choi’s concept.
- RD tried to use two algorithms, “Solder Area” and “Open Sharpness”, were applied for component inspection. While all defects can be successfully detected, the false alarm rate remains relatively high. |
